What joining as a founding supplier costs
21 September 2026 · 3 min read
Ten per cent plus GST, on every category, fixed for as long as you are with us.
The commission
Standard rates run 15% or 20% plus GST depending on the category. Founding suppliers pay 10% plus GST across every category, and a founding rate cannot be increased.

|---|---|---|
| Bartenders | 15% + GST | 10% + GST |
| Catering | 15% + GST | 10% + GST |
| Decor | 15% + GST | 10% + GST |
| Bands | 20% + GST | 10% + GST |
| Dancers | 20% + GST | 10% + GST |
| Circus Acts | 20% + GST | 10% + GST |

The rates differ because the share of a booking that is materials, hire and other third-party cost differs by category. That allowance is already built into the rate, which is why nothing is deducted from the booking value. You are never asked to strip out hire, travel or staffing, and never asked for receipts.
There is no joining fee, no subscription, no charge for receiving an enquiry and no charge for quoting. If no booking happens, you pay nothing.
How it is paid
On a booking paid through the platform, commission is deducted from the client funds we hold and the balance is remitted to you once the event is complete. No invoice is issued.
On a booking taken directly with a client we introduced, we issue a tax invoice on or after the event date, payable within seven days.
What counts as an introduction
When you accept an enquiry, we release the client contact details to you. That moment is the introduction.
From there, commission is payable on any booking you take with that client: whether or not you won the original job, whether it is that event or a different one, and whether it comes through the platform or the client comes straight to you.
If you decline an enquiry, no introduction occurs and nothing is owed. You are only ever tied to introductions you chose to accept.
Before you accept, you see enough about the client and the event to recognise anyone you already deal with. What you do with that is your call - accepting creates the introduction and commission obligation. If you're ever unsure if a client is already on your client base before you accept, just give us a call.
How long it lasts
Twelve months from the introduction, or twelve months from your most recent booking with that client if that is later, so booking them again restarts the clock. It ends for good twenty-four months after the introduction, whatever has happened in between.
Why there is a commission at all
Every supplier is assessed in depth before being listed, and every client enquiry is assessed before it is put in front of anyone. What reaches you is a match, not a broadcast. That is the work the commission pays for.
These are the headline terms only. The Terms of Business (version 1.2, issued 18 September 2026) govern, and the current version is always in the Supplier Portal.
Where the founding round is up to
Places are filling first in catering, bar and beverage, and DJs and MCs. We do not name other suppliers without their permission, which is the same courtesy you would get.
Founding supplier places are still open.
